Your First Week in Israel
Your First Week in Israel - Comprehensive
Aliyah Guide
Mazal tov on your aliyah! Here's everything you need to know for a successful first week.
IMMEDIATE GOVERNMENT PRIORITIES
Ministry of Aliyah and Integration (Misrad HaKlita)
Official Portal: https://www.gov.il/en/departments/ministry_of_aliyah_and_integration/govil-landing-page
Personal Account: https://www.gov.il/en/service/private-area-new-immigrants-and-returning-residents
This is your central hub for managing all benefits, submitting inquiries to your integration counselor, applying for scholarships from the Student Authority, tracking payments, uploading documents, and building business plans. You can submit inquiries in any language, including those not listed on the site.
**At the Airport: **Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, after passport control, you'll receive:
ï Your Teudat Oleh (immigrant certificate)
ï Initial Sal Klita payment of approximately 3,000-3,500 shekels for single adults (higher for families) on a prepaid debit card called "Kartis Aliyah" or "Kart-Isa"
ï This immediate payment covers urgent expenses: transportation, initial groceries, hygiene products, and SIM cards
**First Appointment: **Call *2994 to schedule your initial meeting with your personal Misrad Haklita counselor. This appointment is mandatory to set up your ongoing benefits.

BANKING - TOP PRIORITY
